11. Pump-Down Operation

1) General Instructions

(1) Pump-down operation is to gather the refrigerant into outdoor unit.

(2) If system is under extremely low pressure, compressor will be damaged. When low pressure go

down 2kgf/㎠ or below, close the service valve quickly.

2) Procedure of Pump down operation

Close Liquid SVC Valve

Close Gas SVC Valve of Sub Unit

Single Installation

Group Installation

Press “K2” button 3 times

for pump down operation

Push “K4” button 4 times for

checking low pressure *1)

*1) “40 32”

- “4” means low pressure view mode

- “0 32” means low pressure is 3.2kgf/㎠g

If low pressure ≤

2kgf/㎠

Comp. On

Close Gas SVC Valve

(of Main Unit)

Press “K2” button 2 times

or “K3” button 1 time

for the end of pump down operation

Press “K2” button 3 times

for pump down operation

Wait 20~30minutes

Comp. On

Close Liquid SVC Valve of Sub Unit

Close Liquid SVC Valve of Main Unit
