Operation Manual
Control Panel
This section describes controls available on the control panel and how to use them. Controls with
multiple functionality are more fully described later in this manual.
On/O
Turn the system on/o.
Soft Menu dial-
buttons (1-6)
Use the Soft Menu that appears on the screen. Available menu items may vary
depending on the current system state.
Press or rotate a dial-button to adjust the desired setting.
Tips!
Using Soft Menu dial-buttons
The Soft Menu is divided into top and bottom sections as below:

Top Menu (
): Rotate a dial-button to select an item.
X
Sub Menu (
): Press a dial-button to select an item.

TGC
Six slides are used to adjust Time Gain Compensation (TGC) values by depth.
CAUTION:
Too large a difference in the gain value settings of two adjacent slides may lead to inac-
curate image generation.
Zoom
Zoom in or out the image. The zoom navigation box will be displayed in the User
Information area.
To exit the zoom mode, press the Exit button.
Focus
Use this switch to adjust the focus position. The focus position changes on the ruler as
you adjust its position.
Depth
Use this switch to adjust the scanning depth for the selected image. The depth
information changes in the Title area as you adjust the depth.
Ext. Menu
/ Angle
Ext. Menu: Press the dial-button to turn the Soft Menu page. Ext. Menu is an
abbreviation for ‘Extension Menu’.
Angle: Rotate the dial-button to adjust the angle. In Spectral Doppler Mode, the angle of
the sample volume can be adjusted by 1°. In 2D Mode and View Area is not 100%, rotate
the 2D image left or right side. Use this button to adjust the probe cursor or the indicator
angle in BodyMarker or Indicator Mode respectively.
