Chapter 3 Starting Diagnosis

 Patient ID

Enter patient ID.

 Last Name

Enter the patient’s last name.

 First Name

Enter the patient’s rst name.

 Middle Name

Enter the patient’s middle names if they have any.

NOTE: The name that you have entered will appear in the title area and reports.

 Birth (Age)

Enter the patient’s date of birth in the specied format.

 Access. No. (Accession Number)

When viewing the worklist for a patient via the DICOM server, this information is automatically

displayed in the appropriate elds.

 Operator

Enter the name of the operator who scanned the patient.

 Gender

Select the patient’s gender.

 Search

Search through the information stored in the system.

 New

Enter new patient information.
