The WiseNet supports 1.3MP resolution and HD display; the images look much

larger, wider, and clearer than at lower resolutions. It can be used to monitor the

critical places in small to medium applications or larger projects to a view wide range

of areas.

The WiseNet

cameras support 3MP (2048 x 1536) resolution and Full HD display

which is an established production standard guaranteed to provide a resolution of

1920 x 1080p pixels, a 16 : 9 aspect ratio and real-time image capture. It can

capture a much wider area which is useful for surveillance systems, as the width of

image is usually more helpful than height of image.

effectively, by applying an optimum fusion ratio when combining the long exposure

(low shutter speed exposure)

method used in bright areas

and the short exposure (high

Remote Focus Control

The WiseNet

dome and bullet cameras incorporated motorized varifocal lenses so

that users can adjust the focus and viewing angle of camera very easily through the

network from a remote site without having to visit the installation and open the

camera’s housing.

Samsung Smart Codec - ROI (Regions of Interest)

In the majority of scenes viewed by a surveillance camera, only a proportion of the

image is of interest to the operator. With the continued increase in resolution and

therefore data sizes there is an increased amount of “Wasted Data” created.

Samsung’s smart codec technology allow the network cameras to be programmed

to capture in greater detail the real ROI, such as moving objects, human faces, doors

or windows than the remainder

of the scene. This smart codec

feature produces lower data

sizes while clearly highlighting

the ROI.

SSDR (Samsung Super Dynamic Range)

Useful in high contrast or backlight scene. Automatically lighten of the dark areas

within a scene whilst maintaining the brighter areas at the same level. This ensures

that the dark areas become

operator to view objects in the

shadows.

SSNRIII (Samsung Super Noise ReductionIII)

Useful in low light condition. This technology eliminates image noise in low light

conditions without creating

image blur or ghosting.

Intelligent Video Analytics

Intelligent Video Analytics can be used for efficient monitoring. WiseNetS cameras

provide Motion Detection which detects any change occurring in predefined fields of

view, and Face Detection to detect up to 32 faces in the scene. Built-in Intelligent

Video Analytics of WiseNet include Appear/Disappear/Virtual Line/Enter/Exit

functions. Appear/Disappear function can detect the movement of object in

predefined area; Virtual Line/Enter/Exit functions detect the invasion of the line or

areas in predefined areas.

Polygonal Mask 32

The WiseNetS supports up to 32 polygonal shaped privacy masks so that it

efficiently prevents invasion of privacy under various surveillance environments.

Multiple Codec & Multiple Streaming

The WiseNet network cameras support simultaneous streaming of multiple video

compression technologies such as H.264 and MJPEG. This facilitates multiple

purposes monitoring such as real-time, highquality or high-efficiency recording,

mobile monitoring, E-mail notification and SD memory recording.

VGA Resolution Support

The WiseNetS cameras provide VGA (640 x 480) resolution. Although megapixel

and HD cameras have many advantages, there are applications that VGA cameras

are best-suited. It is important to consider the whole system and environment when

choosing the most suitable network camera.
