Network cameras communicate with monitoring/recording tools via

IP network. Samsung is expanding its line ups for network cameras,

based on its excellent technological background. Various types of

network cameras which are equipped with useful functions.

Network Video Encoders

To comprise surveillance system in network does not mean having to

change analogue cameras were already installed. The encoder

digitize the analogue video signal into network so that the video from

analogue cameras can be transmitted via IP network.

Monitoring Software

A common PC can be used as a monitoring device by installing NET-i,

Samsung network monitoring software. Familiar operation and easy-

to-use GUI will benefit users.

Hardware NVRs

Unlike DVR that digitize the analogue video feeds, NVR receive

digitized video images from IP network. While the DVR has to be

located near the analogue feeds, the NVR can be located anywhere

on a network and users can simply access the recorded video.

Software NVRs (Recording Software)

NET-i ware, network recording software of Samsung, provides video

streaming, recording and event management functions. Users can

record video continuously, on schedule, on alarm and/or on motion

detection.
