In designing its new range of laundry products, Samsung threw away conventional thinking

and started with a clean slate in order to deliver innovative products with the ultimate in

performance and energy saving. The result is a choice of stylish, multi-function machines that

cope with bigger wash sizes and ensure minimum ironing, while standard energy and water

saving features mean that these machines are also ecologically friendly. Samsung’s laundry

range is designed to put your mind at ease, delivering outstanding washing performance,

superb fabric care and the ultimate in ergonomic design and reliability, wash after wash.

Samsung’s ecobubble™ technology uses a bubble generator to dissolve detergent into

the water by injecting air, producing a rich soapy foam cushion in the drum. When

ecobubble™ is applied, the detergent is better dissolved into the water, resulting in faster

penetration into fabric, meaning less hot water is needed to aid the cleaning process. The

Super Eco Wash programme washes at just 15°C, but delivers the same cleaning results

as a 40°C wash, using 70% less energy as a result.

programme at 40°C. All testing was conducted in accordance with the European standard IEC 60456, which sets out methods for measuring the performance of clothes washing machines for household use. Independent

third party tests were performed on models WF1124 and WF0804. Internal tests were conducted on certain other models. The independent third party testing was carried out with a 4Kg load on (a) a 40°C cotton programme

and (b) the Super Eco programme at 15°C, both on Samsung washing machines, models WF1124 and WF0804. The exact energy savings with the Super Eco programme at 15°C will vary slightly depending on the model

of Samsung ecobubble™ machine used.
